Cragganmore comes from the banks of the legendary salmon river and is for many the cradle of the ultimate Speyside malt. Particularly complex, with a very layered flavor and a hint of smoke in the finish.

Large, round, light to medium.
Taste
A strong malt flavor with a hint of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood.
Aftertaste
A long, malt-driven finish with light smoke and sweet zweempjes.

Smaak: licht rokerig, bloemig, wat peper , zoethout, ook wel wat nootachtig. Enigszins complexe smaak en dat maakt deze whisky interessant.

Taste
More oaky spice such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Some apple, caramel, almonds, malt and a little smoke (not peat).
Finish
Cinnamon, apple, caramel, almond, grass, floral notes, a whiff of smoke and a little mint. A bitter nuttiness stays longest.
Comments
The nose is quite promising, but the taste is rather boring.
