Dampegheest Brewery

Dampegheest brewery is located in North Holland Limmen. The name of the brewery is derived from a reinforced mansion called "House Dampegheest", which has stood from the 14th to the 19th century in Limmen. There has even from 1632 to 1680 a brewer of Haarlem brewery "De Olyphant" lived. His name was Gerrit Schouten. The house was unfortunately demolished in 1846. The silhouette of this house is incorporated into the logo of brewery Dampegheest.

The brewery has been in business since 2008 and produces 8 special beers made according to your own recipe. Our brewing equipment by Herman Zomerdijk († 2014) made of depreciated tanks from the milk industry.
