Since the Millennium has a limited amount of Auchentoshan's triple distilled and 'non chill filtered' distillate matured in 'Virgin' American Oak barrels. This small batch release of Auchentoshan defies belief that Scotch whiskey matured in ex-bourbon or sherry casks. With one gulp Auchentoshan Virgin Oak proves the contrary. Time and patience create a Lowland Single Malt with a deep amber color and notes of spiciness and sweetness, which layer after layer reveals its complexity.

Colour: Deep Sienna orange.
Fragrance: Cinnamon and nutmeg, vanilla and candied orange.
Taste: velvety with hints of spices, apple, soft chocolate caramel.
Finish: Warming with spicy orange and brown sugar.
Auchentoshan is the only single malt Scotch every drop distills three times, for softness, purity and subtlety. Therefore Auchentoshan has a pleasant light and accessible character. Auchentoshan is one of the two constantly producing Lowland malt distilleries. The distillery since 1823 based near Glasgow, at the foot of the Old Kilpatrick Hills; hence the name Auchentoshan, Gaelic for "corner of the field."
