Benriach is a medium sized Brown Forman distillery in the Speyside region and is located in Elgin where many other malt whiskey distilleries are located such as Longmorn, Linkwood and Glen Moray. Various worldwide versions of Benraich Malt whiskey are available. Benriach has stood still for a number of years. Previous owner Billy Walker has boosted the reputation and sales of Benriach whiskey. As a result, Benraich has once again become a respected and well-sold Speyside Malt whiskey.
Independent bottlings are quite scarce and this version is special because of its 11 year maturation in a first fill Oloroso sherry barrel. Quite a few bottles have come to the Netherlands.
