The GlenDronach Distillery (taken over in 2008 by The BenRiach Distillery Company) is proud to release "Recherche", a 44 year old Highland single malt, which was distilled at September 24, 1968 and placed in the barrel.
The '68 stock represents the oldest whiskey in the warehouses of GlenDronach. The 1968 cask # 005, an oloroso sherry butt, was "the hand" selected to be bottled as "Recherche". This name was chosen because it means "carefully selected".
