Schiava is the grape variety most typical of, and most commonly grown in, South Tyrol. This grape, on the other hand, is hardly grown in the Valle Isarco. However, the production area, located at the mouth of the valley, north of Bolzano, fully meets the needs of these grape varieties and offers the typical Schiava elegance and fruity notes that have made this red wine the most famous of Alto Adige-Südtiol.
