VISION / COLOR
A firm and flaky white head forms before your eyes. The brass color looks especially attractive with the sunlight. It is slightly turbid, because the second fermentation in the bottle.
The first time you smell a sweetness reminiscent of pineapple in syrup. This sweetness gets a fresh touch the orange which ever occurs more in the foreground. Additionally, you can recognize something of notes in the aroma.
Maredsous is very complex at first sip. The considerable bitterness and fruitiness of overripe fruit playin your mouth. Yet the soft palate remains accessible and the ABV is not perceptible. Very balanced made.
The aftertaste remains in the same style and seems to have gone something of grapefruit. Eventually it flows slowly.
Serve with spiced potatoes and old-schnitzel "Wiener Art".
