OBAN DISTILLERS 'EDITION
Each Distillersâ € ™ Edition whiskey undergoes a second (or â € ~ € ™ dubbeleâ) maturation in casks which have been fortified wine. The founders of the Oban distillery were entrepreneurs who im-and exported goods which they knew there was demand. They would certainly agree with the Spanish influences that finish in this wooden montilla entails fino barrels themselves. Quite a complex whiskey of the best kind: a beautiful, spicy nose and a lot of sweet fruit, supplemented with salt and hearty roasted malt and caramel.

Appearance
Amber colored, reddish

Nose
Extraordinary. Fruity and tart, sea salt with crushed grapes, orange peel and a hint of smoke. Considerably complex.

BODY
Full and heavy.

Taste
The most explosive Oban up to now. Soft malt, then wave after wave of delicate tones but heavy fruit on a wave of brine.

Aftertaste
Sweetened Jamaican coffee and oak, with an attractive effect of malt biscuit when he goes out.
