To celebrate the rebirth and the start of a new chapter in the new Golden Age of Irish Whiskey, Teeling Whiskey is proud to release the Teeling Renaissance, a limited series of Single Malt bottlings, celebrating the very best that Teeling Whiskey has to offer.

The Renaissance Series #5 consists of 18 year old single malt initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before finishing in ex-calvados casks, yielding a wonderful array of sweet fruit flavors with a gentle spiciness. Limited to just 176 bottles for the Netherlands, the resulting Single Malt is then bottled at 46% with no chill filtration.

Nose: Candied Apples, Cinnamon, Baked Pears, Fresh Mint

Flavor: Apple Pie, Golden Raisins, Pink Peppercorns, Jasmine

Finish: Maple Syrup, Dried Cherries, Wood Tannins

Extra information:

The Teeling family has been involved with Irish Whiskey since 1782 when the current generation great-great grandfather, Walter Teeling, already had his distillery on Marrowbowe Lane. In 1987 John Teeling opened the Cooley Distillery and in 2007 the Kilbeggan Distillery. These were sold to Beam Global in 2012.

In 2015, John's sons, Jack and Stephen, opened the new Teeling Distillery at Newmarket in the Dublin Liberties. A stone's throw from the former distillery of Walter Teeling in the middle of "The Golden Triangle". Dublin's historic distilling district. The first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. And the first working distillery in nearly 50 years.

All Teeling whiskey is bottled without any additives and without cold filtering at a minimum strength of 46% alc.
