Black Bottle

Nose
Peat smoke, whipped cream, grass, tar, honey and custard.

Taste
Creamy on the palate despite the low ABV. salty butter, cheddar cheese, smoked cheese, sweet licorice and grass.

Finish
The finish is medium in length, with peat smoke and artificial sweetener. However, I have had several single malt whiskies with much shorter finish.

Comments
I am happy to have bought myself a bottle for future reference since this one has been replaced by a much different version with less islay and more something else. The malt content is definitely substantial and it looks like this old version is still available based on the image. I think I have to buy another one before they are completely out.
