This is the distillery’s first permanent cask strength release and allows consumers to experience the Tomatin style of whisky in its most natural state. Only 15,000 bottles will be produced per annum, and the strength from batch to batch will vary slightly. Batch 1, launched this week, is bottled at 57.5%.
This addition, matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks, joins a strong award-winning core line-up which presents varying styles, matured in various types of casks including Bourbon, Sherry, Port and Virgin Oak.
