Château Pontac-Lynch has existed since 1720. The estate and its vineyards are located between Margaux and Cantenac, surrounded by renowned neighbors such as Château Margaux, Château Palmer, Rauzan Segla, and Château d'Issan. The grapes for this high-quality wine are harvested by hand. After a rigorous selection, the grapes are vinified traditionally and aged in barriques. The terroir is composed of clay and limestone, and the vineyards are planted with 45% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot.

Tasting notes: The fruity aromas of cherry and plum are ripe and sultry. The wine is powerful yet soft thanks to its creamy texture. The spiciness of the oak aging is well-integrated, adding both spiciness and complexity. The wine can easily age for another 10-15 years. Serve this wine with foie gras, roasted poultry, and grilled lamb.
