This Lebanese wine is made from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grape varieties and comes directly from the Bekaa Valley sub-region. This beauty is grown on an area limited to 9 hectares at an altitude of 1100 meters and aged for up to 24 months in French oak barrels. Taste character

Fresh, powerful and complex, these are the characteristics of the beautiful Châtea Kefraya Comte de M. The wine contains notes of fresh red fruit, chocolate and aromas of menthol, cigar, blackberries, forest fruits and cloves. There are also notes of sandalwood, leather and glazed red fruit. The tannins are well structured and the oak perfectly integrated. The aftertaste is long and powerful. The wine turns a beautiful ruby red in the glass with pomegranate-colored reflections. We recommend that you combine the wine with red meat (Beef – Pork – Lamb) and with strong cheese (Roquefort – Blue cheese), this combination is heavenly. Cheers!

The Winery

The Chateau Kefraya winery is located in the Bekaa Valley, 1000 meters above sea level. This is the most important wine region of Lebanon, where many quality wines are created. Since the times of the Phoenicians, this area has been considered fertile and very suitable for grape growing and viticulture. The vines grow in the sun-drenched, non-irrigated vineyards, where the soil is very diverse and rich in clay-limestone, chalk, sand and gravel soils. Compared to the rest of the country, the climate here is temperate. Significant temperature differences between day and night ensure slow development and perfect ripening of the grapes.
