The Gašper Markiza Rosé is a refined wine originating in the enchanting Goriška Brda region of Slovenia, an area often compared to the Tuscany of Slovenia. This region offers the perfect climate for viticulture, with a harmonious combination of the warm maritime climate and the cooling Alpine winds. This ensures ideal ripening conditions, resulting in wines of exceptional quality. This rosé is made from 100% Merlot grapes, known for their soft, fruity taste. The grapes are hand-picked, with only the ripest and healthiest specimens selected. To preserve the freshness and fruitiness of the Merlot, the grapes are kept chilled prior to fermentation, ensuring the fresh aromas are well preserved. The production process is careful and precise. After a short cold maceration, the grapes are pressed quickly and gently. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C, allowing the delicate aromas to develop optimally. After fermentation, the wine matures further in stainless steel tanks, preserving the wine's purity. The process is carried out in a CO2 atmosphere to prevent the wine from coming into contact with oxygen, which enhances the fresh, fruity characteristics of the Merlot. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, the Gašper Markiza Rosé is a light and elegant wine that lends itself perfectly to various occasions.
