Château Latour, located in the heart of the Médoc, about 50 km northwest of Bordeaux, is where the Bordeaux wine legends originated. The prestigious l'Enclos terroir overlooks the Gironde estuary, which has geologically shaped the vineyard over the centuries and ensures a mild climate. Les Forts de Latour is made from the same grapes as the estate's flagship wine, Château Latour, but is produced from younger vines and grapes from vineyards situated just a short distance from the main building.

The wine has an intense violet color. On the nose, an abundance of black fruit, such as pure cassis, plum, and crisp black cherry. A hint of cedarwood, smoke, and tobacco complete this very complex wine. Although very charming and smooth, it has a fine tannic backbone and a juicy freshness. The finish is very harmonious and long.
