Product description

0.75 liters 13.5%

Country: Argentina, Uco Valley

Grape variety: Chardonnay

Alcohol: 13%

Flavor Profile:

Bright yellow in color with golden reflections. The aromas remind us of citrus fruits and pineapple, accompanied by elegant minerality on the palate and creamy notes of oak. Nicely balanced with a delicious taste and acidity, this is a very lively wine.

Goes well with trout with butter and capers, Marico cocktails and avocado mousse. Ideal serving temperature is 10 degrees.

FINCA LA CELIA – DON EUGENIO BUSTOS
The oldest Malbec producer from the Uco Valley, Mendoza Argentina

Eugenio Bustos arrived in the Uco Valley 129 years ago and planted the first Malbec from France, which he received as payment for the sale of his best horses. This is how Finca La Celia was created in 1890, named in honor of his daughter. With over 125 years, La Celia is the oldest winery in Mendoza's Uco Valley.

Valle de Uco is a wine-growing region southwest of Mendoza, in Argentina. Located along the Tunuyán River, the Uco Valley is widely regarded as one of the best wine regions in Mendoza and all of Argentina. The annual average temperature is 14 °C and the altitudes range from 900 to 1200 meters above sea level.

The combination of high elevation, alluvial soils, irrigation sourced from the Andes Mountains, a long growing season with more than 250 sunny days a year, little rainfall and large temperature differences between day and night are all conducive to the cultivation of quality wine grapes. These climate and geography elements come together to provide excellent fruit ripening and concentration, developing colours, aromas, flavors and textures, resulting in wines that are deep in colour, intense in aromas and rich in flavours. . The Uco Valley plays a prominent role in Argentine viticulture.
