Monte Da Ria Tinto Reserva is a delicious Portuguese blend of the Touriga Nacional and Syrah grape varieties. The grapes are picked by hand and transported to the winery in small boxes. Then follows the total detuning, crushing and transfer to stainless steel tanks where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 24 and 26° (with a very careful maceration until the total exhaustion of the sugars. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to another stainless steel tank and there it remains until the end of malolactic fermentation. Part of the wine matures in barrels. The final blend is made before bottling. It then undergoes only a light vinification with vegetable means and then a filtration flat before filling the bottles to preserve all the aromatic potential. The wine from the Algarve wine region has an alcohol content of 14%.
