The color is light golden yellow with greenish and straw yellow hues. Full, quite concentrated fragrance, beautifully fresh, with fresh bread and hints of hawthorn and broom. Fresh, quite intense, harmonious and round taste, in which the almond bitter returns slightly (which is typical of Verdicchio). Nice aftertaste.

Gastronomy: Serving 9-10°C. Definitely a meal wine due to its fullness. Delicious with fried fish, king prawns, squid and even chicken. Aromatic, quite rich Verdicchio, with enough freshness not to be heavy. A lot of wine for such a modest price.

Extra Information: The Azienda Agricola Piersanti is located in Cupramontana, the beating heart of the Verdicchio di Jesi region. They make a number of Verdicchio's, of different levels. This “Bacaréto” is a so-called Cru; a vineyard on one of the best hills, classified separately. It is a bit higher, more than 350m above sea level. This is important; at this altitude it is quite a bit cooler than on the coast, allowing the grapes to be harvested later and have more to offer aromatically.
