This impressive white wine comes from the famous Hungarian Eger. This thousand-year-old town is often compared to French Burgundy. Eger has a beautiful baroque city center, spas and high-quality wines. One of these high-quality wines is our Boldogságos. This wine is composed of beautiful combinations of Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Olaszrizling and Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris). The fermentation of the wine takes place in large oak barrels.

Taste character

St. Andrea Boldogságos has balanced and subtle aromas of lime grass, pear, apple and almonds. This wine has a medium long finish with recognizable nuts and almonds.

The winery

One of the best wineries in Hungary is St. Andrea and perhaps the best in Eger. György Lörincz the winemaker was nominated as the best winemaker in Hungary in 2009. In addition to the international Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah, the indigenous Kékfrankos, Blauburger, Turán and Menoir are also planted in Eger. The Királyleányka, Olaszrizling, Hárslebelű and Chardonnay are the most popular for white wine.
