Karasi Collection Haghtanak Red Dry is wine history in a glass. This high-quality wine from Voskevaz Wijnhuis has beautiful properties and real Armenian indigenous characteristic power.
The wine is made from fine Armenian autochthonous grape variety Haghtanak, which is harvested from old vines at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level.
Traditional karas (Armenian amphora barrels) and local oak barrels are used to create this excellent quality wine. Fermentation and maceration takes place in Karassen at 16-25 ° C. This is followed by aging in new Armenian oak barrels for 12 months.
In the glass the wine is rich cherry red. In the nose beautifully dominating aromas of blackberries, ripe red cherries and plums and mild notes of pomegranate. In the mouth medium-bodied wine, balanced tannin with hints of berries, blackberries and cherries. The finish is medium long with a slightly spicy note and berries.
