The first Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the re-furbished Glenglassaugh Distillery Which is available through normal distribution channels. The Glenglassaugh "Revival" is a combination of first and refill cask styles, finished in 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts for a period of six months. Non-chill filtered and natural color, a Highland Single Malt with a coastal charm.
Colour: Copper
Nose: Sweet caramel and toffee with notes of nutty sherry, milk chocolate and honey. Ripe plums, red berries and oranges. Caramelised sugar and earthy, charred oak.
Palate: Sweet, rounded and creamy. Oranges, plums, cherry and walnuts, chocolate, honey-mead, sherry and soft, spiced oak.
Finish: Medium with warming mulled-wine spices, sherry and caramel.

Creamy caramel, lime, red berries, vanilla and a slight coastal peatiness. Pretty good nose for such a young whisky, especially the sherry influence.
