The name "La Garenne" harks back to the Middle Ages, when this wooded area was reserved for hunting by lords and monasteries. The vineyard is situated high on the Puligny slope, between 360 and 380 meters in altitude, facing southeast. The thin, stony soil rests on limestone slabs, which gives the wine its refined minerality and vibrancy.

The grapes come from two plots, some planted in 1935 and some in 1992. The altitude and proximity to the forest ensure cool nights and slow ripening, resulting in elegance. After careful vinification, the wine is aged in oak to further develop its structure and depth.

This Puligny is lively and has aromas of white flowers, almond, and flint. It strikes a beautiful balance between freshness and elegance. After several years in the bottle, the wine will only improve.
