Nose
Fresh and elegant with aromas of citrus, green apple, and honey. Light floral notes, vanilla, and a subtle spiciness create a clear and refined impression.
Taste
Smooth and balanced. Light malt sweetness and honey are complemented by citrus, vanilla, and a hint of white pepper. A fresh character with a clean, dry balance.
Aftertaste
Medium length, fresh and slightly spicy, with lingering citrus and a soft malty sweetness.
Character
A fresh and approachable Highland single malt with an elegant and clean profile. Light, refined, and very drinkable.
Nose: Nice aromas, freshly floral with citrus. Sweet hints of honey influence on the background. Definitely the past part.
Taste: Sweet and every taste is subtle. Spices and herbs with some chocolate. For me it was very hard to spot different flavors.
Finish: Length is nice but the finish felt a bit dull. Oak and barley mostly stand out.
Another good one! This whisky has got everything, it seems like every time i visit it, i get something different standing out from the mix of various flavors.
Smoke, cream, cereal, lemon, vanilla, flower nectar... all of those come together to create a complex, balanced, and very interesting single malt.
Only one complaint, it doesn't stand the test of time. A while after being opened it seemed to start losing much of its flavor, I recommend decanting it into a smaller bottle where there wont be as much air to oxygenate it. My bottle is now almost empty and tastes nothing like how i remembered it to be when i first opened it up.
Could also just drink it often until it's gone within a short period of time :)
With such a flavor and an incredibly low price for the complexity and richness of flavor you're getting here, I'm certain that won't be a problem for any seasoned whisky drinker.
