The 8 Year Old is the first age-declared single malt from their new distillery. This accessible whisky gains extra depth through double maturation in American oak red wine casks. The result is a vibrant and layered profile where ripe strawberries take center stage, supported by soft spicy notes and a warm, jammy sweetness.
The aroma reveals fresh strawberries, followed by subtle spiciness and a hint of pine. The palate is full and rounded, with strawberry jam, burnished oak, and a hint of nutmeg, followed by a remarkably long, softly sweet, and warming finish.
