THE PROCESS

Liqueur obtained by slow maceration of apricots from Roussillon.

The apricot, considered a close relative of the plum, originates from China, where it has been cultivated for over 2,000 years. In France, it is largely thanks to Louis XIV, the "Sun King," that the apricot has become so popular. Giffard has selected apricots from Roussillon for their firm, sweet, and very fragrant flesh.

TASTE PROFILE

Colour:
Golden yellow liqueur with orange hues.

Scent:
Sweetness of apricot, light vegetal hint, sweet spices (vanilla) and caramel in the finish.

Taste:
The taste is very round and soft, and is reminiscent of caramelized apricot compote.

HOW TO DRINK:

Pure on crushed ice or in cocktails.
