We proudly launch our first Boomsma Dutch Single Malt Whiskey. After 7 years of aging in former American bourbon barrels, the time is ripe for this special introduction. In 2016 we started working with a local Frisian beer brewer to develop the perfect basis for the new whisky.

This mash of 100% barley and whiskey yeast has undergone a temperature-controlled fermentation for 72 hours. We then put the resulting wort in our own copper Pot Still
cauldron distilled twice.

Tasting notes:
The whiskey has a sparkling light gold color. Enjoy a fruity fragrance palette in which apricot and citrus fruit unmistakably predominate but are subtly interwoven with vanilla, fudge and wood tones. Soft and filmy in taste with toffee, vanilla, banana, grain and wood. The refined aftertaste is elegant and makes this whiskey a beautiful glass to really enjoy.
