Edradour 18Y Amarone DFR 2007-2026 is a special Highland single malt whisky with a pronounced influence from Amarone wine casks. The long maturation gives the whisky a rich and fruity character in which the full style of Edradour blends beautifully with notes of red wine. On the nose, aromas of dark cherries, ripe berries, raisins, chocolate, and warm spices come to the fore. The taste is full and layered, with notes of red fruit, caramel, cocoa, spicy oak, and a hint of wine-like tannins, followed by a long, warm, and fruity finish.
