Glendronach The Venetian Room is an exclusive Travel Retail edition from the House Editions series. This expression is inspired by the romance and grandeur of Venice and combines the classic, rich sherry style of Glendronach with the refined influence of Italian Amarone wine casks .

The whisky matures in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks , followed by an influence from Amarone red wine casks . This unique cask combination results in a full-bodied, velvety whisky with deep fruit notes, rich dessert influences, and an elegant spiciness. With an alcohol percentage of 46%, The Venetian Room offers a beautiful balance of sweetness, complexity, and intensity.

Tasting notes

• Color: Golden amber.
• Nose: Dark cherries, creamy tiramisu, blackcurrants and dates, complemented by cocoa, amaretti and a hint of vanilla spice.
• Taste: Honey-sweet red plums and almond liqueur develop into maraschino cherries, chocolate-coated hazelnuts, and rich notes of Black Forest gâteau.
• Finish: Long and creamy with forest fruits, hazelnut cream and a subtle touch of caramel macchiato.
