To toast 25 years of Compass Box, they present a revised version of Flaming Heart, which focuses on the flames and their protective oak barrel.

For this 8th edition they have searched for the most complex flavour palette possible with as few components as possible.

Rich, oily smoke appears on the nose, supported by spicy herbs. Hints of raspberry and apricot, surrounded by impressions of tarry rope. The palate is immediately full of spices such as clove, pink and black pepper and nutmeg. Medicinal peat notes combine with bright and winey fruit. Finally, concentrated smoke that is at once woody and ashy with menthol and citrus oils.
