Serpent's Tears is a Llandudno Peated, Smoky and Fruity Single Malt Welsh Whisky with an alcohol content of 46%.

From the Viking longships, the looming North Wales headland, rising from the mist and fog, resembled a fearsome creature. The Great Orme, derived from the Old Norse word for 'Great Serpent,' had survived volcanic eruptions, dinosaurs, and the Ice Age, and it's no wonder it struck fear into the hearts of these seafarers—many of whom perished in the Serpent's tears. In the shadow of the Great Orme, Penderyn Llandudno Lloyd Street Distillery has created and matured this lightly peated whisky as a tribute to the adventurous spirit of early explorers and the natural beauty of its home base.

Nose: An autumn day in a glass. Dry leaves, orchard fruit, wood smoke—dry logs on a crackling fire. In the background, creamy notes and heavy toasted bread.

Palate: Sweet peat, soft vanillacrème, pancake with sugar and slightly charred edges. Baked apples with a hint of malt and a touch of peppery spice and cloves.

Finish: Warming, soft peat that lingers on the palate, with a barley-like sweetness.
