This special release, No. 3: The Wulver, is an unpeated single malt that brings the story of the kindhearted wolfman to life. Like the Wulver itself, this whisky is powerful in character, yet with a surprisingly smooth, warm core.

After careful maturation, it received its final refinement during a nine-month finish in ex-Tawny Port casks. The result is a whisky with depth and roundness, featuring fruity notes, gentle spice, and a hint of sweetness that perfectly balances the distinctive Campbeltown character.

Tasting notes

Nose: Soft and inviting, with aromas of ripe red fruits, blueberries, and raspberries. Behind these lie notes of vanilla, honey, and oak, with a hint of sea air that immediately evokes Campbeltown.

Palate: Round and full of character. Sweet notes of red fruit and dark chocolate blend beautifully with spicy accents and a light warmth from the wood. The influence of the Tawny Port casks creates a rich, smooth texture and a fine balance.

Finish: Long and pleasant, with recurring notes of berries, cocoa and a subtle saltiness that lingers.
