Benromach 12 Years Sherry Matured is a characterful Speyside single malt whisky in which the classic Benromach style is combined with rich sherry influences. Maturation in carefully selected sherry casks creates a full and layered character with notes of dried fruit, orange, chocolate, and warm spices. On the palate, raisins, ripe apple, caramel, and roasted nuts come to the fore, complemented by the subtle smokiness so characteristic of Benromach. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sherry notes, spicy oak, and a light hint of smoke.
