The special maturation in Chilean red wine casks gives the whisky a rich and pronounced character with aromas of dark red fruit, ripe plums, blackcurrants, and subtle notes of cocoa and oak. On the palate, the characteristic malty notes of Ben Nevis combine with juicy red fruit, vanilla, dark chocolate, and warm spices, followed by a long, fruity, and slightly spicy finish. The whisky is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration and without added colorings.
