Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Caol Ila 13Y 2012 'Made For Your Moment' is a special Islay single malt whisky, distilled in 2012 and bottled after 13 years of maturation by the renowned independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. This exclusive bottling has matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead (cask number #311514), combining the distinctive smoky character of Caol Ila with rich, fruity sherry influences.

The nose reveals notes of peat smoke, raisins, dried figs, and dark chocolate, complemented by subtle hints of sea salt and warm spices. The taste is full and powerful, with accents of caramel, dried fruit, orange peel, and spicy oak, beautifully interwoven with an elegant smokiness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of peat smoke, dark chocolate, and soft spices.
