The barrels containing the Chateau's Grande Reserve, both the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Merlot, have been emptied and refilled with fine Irish Single Malt whiskey that has previously matured for 19 years in bourbon barrels from Kentucky. The addition of this six-month maturation period in the Grande Reserve wine barrels has produced a majestic whiskey for you to enjoy today. At Hinch they felt it would only be fair to also add a bottle of Chateau de la Ligne Grande Reserve for your enjoyment. This wine played an important role in the development of this 19-year-old Single Malt.
