Hooghoudt Aged Genever 5 Year Malt & Botanicals

This delicious genever has a light amber color. Distilled in the Netherlands and matured for five years in former oloroso sherry casks. This process has given the genever a very soft aroma, filled with notes of currants and raisins, delightful sherry notes, and a hint of vanilla. A touch of anise adds a fresh note. Its flavor is rich and warming, again with notes of currants and raisins, but further complemented by figs and wavy toffee notes. It finishes with a long finish. This genever has an alcohol content of 40%.
