Laphroaig 9 Years Old 2016 Signatory Cask Strength Cask 8 0.70 ltr 61.2%

This exclusive Laphroaig 9Y from the Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection was bottled especially for the Netherlands and matured entirely in a First Fill Bourbon Barrel. The whisky combines Laphroaig's signature powerful and medicinal peat character with notes of vanilla, fresh citrus, sea salt, and subtle oak. On the palate, intense peat smoke, soft bourbon sweetness, and spicy accents come together, followed by a long, warming, and smoky finish. This single cask (cask #8) was distilled in 2016 and bottled at an impressive cask strength of 61.2%, with a limited edition of only 277 bottles.
