Milk & Honey Apex Rum Cask 57.1% 6 CL Sample

This small-batch single malt whisky has been matured entirely in ex-rum casks from Jamaica and Cuba, delivering intriguing layers of complexity with every sip.

Nose: Banana yogurt with dark chocolate chips, fragrant wildflower honey and ground white pepper.

Taste: Rich molasses followed by pecan pie sprinkled with toasted coconut, warm spice blend of nutmeg and cloves.

Finish: Tropical fruit, papaya and cantaloupe accompanied by fresh mint.

The Apex series is the culmination of years of work and research. It clearly shows that innovation and creativity are highly valued at Milk&Honey . This series is a combination of a healthy dose of daring and the need of the distillery to continue to challenge itself. Head-distiller Tomer Goren selected the barrels for the Apex series. These specific barrels were chosen based on their unique character. This makes these whiskies like a journey of discovery to both the place where the whiskies were made and the materials used for this. With this series, Milk&Honey shows what the location, maturation or the combination of wood and terroir can mean for the taste of a whisky.
