This blend of malt and grain matures for over 3 years in bourbon barrels. After careful blending, a finish of over 3 months follows in a Japanese red wine cask from the Tottori province. This finish in red wine casks gives delicious notes reminiscent of bittersweet caramel and chocolate cake, accompanied by an exceptionally fruity taste. The most important factor contributing to the exceptional quality of The Daisen Blended Whisky Red Wine Cask is the use of natural groundwater from Mount Daisen. The combination of this pure water and the carefully selected blend of whiskies results in a harmonious and balanced expression. Non chill filtered, natural colour.
