This expression is crafted from a blend of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, peated to 78ppm+ and fermented with 100% Pinnacle MG yeast for a period of 72 hours. This release is aged exclusively inQuercusAlba American oak, including first-fillheavily toasted casks shipped directly from the cooperage, first-fillbourbon casks typically 4-6 years old from Kentucky, andrefilledbourbon casks potentially used for over 10 years from our own warehouses. Bottled at 46% without cold filtration or coloring. The result is a highly expressive single malt with delicate notes of orange, apricot, and sweet marine seaweed on the nose, a rich palate of campfire smoke, honey, and sea salt, and a persistent, elegant finish that captures the spirit of storms, sunsets, and the wild Sound ofSleat.
