This Old Rare cognac from WV Baker & Cie was bottled in November 2022. The spirit is 15 years old and comes from the Fins Bois region, from Domaine de Forges.

This cognac was recently discovered in the small cellar of a passionate winegrower on the outskirts of Saintes. And let that happen to be the home of Benjamin Baker. It's an old cognac. Well older than the minimum that stands for an XO, which is 10 years, and yet the spirit is fresh and intense. Has an incredible character. This cognac is reminiscent of a cool spring day, with its notes of delicate flowers. It's an intriguing, quite unusual spirit in many ways. Remained completely untouched by bottling it at cask strength, no added burnt sugar and it comes from one cask. Made from the Ugni Blanc grape, only 480 bottles of this edition were bottled.
