Small Batch
This single malt whisky has been matured in Madeira casks, a dessert wine from the island of Madeira in Portugal that is known for its caramel flavour and even notes of burnt sugar. This whisky highlights the typical sweetness of caramel in the whisky in combination with dried fruits and warm, spicy notes.
Nose – Raisins with allspice and nutmeg, in the background you can detect varnish/lacquer.
Taste – Tobacco and dried fruit are followed by wood and caramel.
Finish – Long and full of oak with notes of caramelised orange peel and chocolate.
