This edition of Glen Scotia is a limited edition whose cask composition has been carefully selected by De Monnik Dranken. The whiskey flows from three identical sister casks. For example, the whiskey first matured in first-fil bourbon casks, after which the water of life has undergone a marriage in Oloroso sherry casks for 9-12 months. The influence of Oloroso sherry is clearly discernible in both the taste and smell palette, while retaining the typical Campbeltown character. Beautiful aromas that fill the mouth with a powerful and round taste. In addition, the combination of bourbon and Oloroso provides a wonderfully warming and spicy character. The unpeated whiskey was then bottled at a nice cask strength of 56.8%. The batch produced 735 bottles.
