Loch Gorm is the name given to the annual limited edition sherry matured. Named after Islay's largest freshwater loch adjacent to the distillery, the dark, turbid color of the lake's water is reflected in the rich copper tones of this sherry-aged Loch Gorm release. Loch Gorm is exclusively matured in Oloroso sherry casks from the renowned bodega Jose Miguel Martin.

taste note

Nose – Intense sweet pipe smoke, followed by waves of freshly cut strawberries and candied lemon zest. Lighter notes of Neroli (orange blossom), fudge and cloves.

Flavor Palette – An initial recognition of dark chocolate and roasted walnuts, soft tobacco smoke, hints of caramel and dates accompanied by subtle warm peat smoke.

Finish - Long and lasting with cinnamon and licorice, bitter chocolate and lingering earthy smoke.
