The Balvenie Distillery is located in the heart of Speyside, in the Scottish Highlands. There is little changed since the first distillation in 1893 and the exceptional quality of The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky is due to the fact that the distillery retains a high level of craftsmanship and cherish, something that other producers of malt whiskey not do.

Because the shape of our copper stills is so important to the flavors and character of The Balvenie, the maintenance of vital importance. Our current coppersmith's been fifty years in the service and is responsible for the maintenance of the boilers.
